out of commission...

so without explaining everything thats been going on...ill do that next post...here are some pictures of what just happened at the Ridge...

Esso Club

Sorry its been a couple of days I am still taking pictures daily i unfortunately went out to town and didn't have Internet access to upload any of them I will hopefully catch up soon. Today I had some time to hang out before I went into work today and so i decided to ride around campus and take pictures I had wanted to take for some time. This one picture i still want to edit in photoshop and play with it but here it is before the modifications. The Esso Club is one of those historic sites at Clemson that i wanted to capture and really got lucky having the water puddle here to reflect it back. Well im not sure of my time these next couple of days as im going out of town but would love your prayers as a go to Shreveport, LA for Young Life. So im not sure if im going to be able to post any shots, but will add some more as soon as possible.

Not Slacking

Ok so im not slacking on posting photos...but im actually running out of room on my computer. With all these new photos and future photos im going to have to invest into a hard drive not a portable one where i run out of space in a month. So with all that said here is todays photo. I took this at a place on Lake Hartwell where I go to clear my head and spend time with the lord. Someone showed it to me about 3 years ago and its been the perfect place for retreat ever since.

Pendleton Oil Mill

So for the past 4 1/2 years I have been driving past the old Pendlton Oil Mill on the way to T.L. Hanna for Young Life and always wanted to take pictures of this old abandon Mill, well parts of it are abandoned. So today after work i spent some time down there and took more photos than i would like to admit. It was great and I want to go back when the sun isn't so intense. But here is a shot of the mill from the rail road tracks. Hope you enjoy.

This posting thing is tough

wow so i have learned that it takes a lot longer to post these pictures than it does to actually take them. So in this process of Project 365 i am actually taking pictures everyday but it may mean i have to post a couple other day. I hope to do it every day but due to my work schedule it depends exactly what time of day that is. Anyways i got the chance today to get away and take a few pics i went to the lake and while the sky was really pretty blue for all of 1 min i was able to take this shot. tomorrow the plan is to get some shots of downtown Pendleton....stay tuned.

No Trespassing

This morning a group of us went down to the Issaqueena rope swing. We got a little lost getting there thanks to a gate being down. I brought my camera but about left it in the car after i found i had to walk across the dam, while everyone else swam across. I made it and with that came up with todays picture. It was a beautiful day to be out on the lake and had a ton of fun.

Day 2

This photo i took downtown tonight. I wish i had more time to take some more shots but we didnt have enough time. But downtown parking is one of the craziest things on a friday night so i thought i would try and get a shot of that.

What is Project 365

What is Project 365? Well honestly have been wanting to find someway to put up photos and had been doing a lot of research and came across someone who did this "Project 365". They took a picture everyday or posted some photo everyday and that was it. I liked it and thought it would be fun to do until i find a way to place all my pictures online. so im starting this blog, because I wanted to take more photos and share them with you. I will take them of anything and everything unedited. I really enjoy photography and sometimes life gets too busy to take photos so this will allow me to carry my camera everywhere and see what happens. Who knows you might end up in one of my photos. So my first photo is the main background photo under the title "Project 365" Its a picture of a spray painted Clemson Paw under a railroad bridge. I passed this everyday going to and from my house. There is more of a story to this but every-time i pass it i cant help but think of Ned and David who were with me when we discovered it. I love the picture because of the texture and the colors.
